White variety that has its place of origin in Catalonia, also known as Viura in Rioja. Participate in the classic blend of Cava with Xarel•lo and Parellada. Resistant to frost and drought but sensitive to fungal diseases, this grape has a golden color and a thin skin. It produces wines with moderate alcohol content and medium acidity. Highlights the fruity aromas of apple and grapefruit. It is a variety with good skills barrel aging due to its slow oxidation.
