INFORMATION OF INTEREST Gramona Enoteca Brut 2004

TASTING NOTE

Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Intense yellow with golden highlights. Fine and persistent pearl. Very nice to see.

Aroma: The nose is complexity, depth and expressiveness in its maximum state. Its organoleptic journey is complete, starting with the primary aromas and ending with the tertiary ones. Ripe fruit appears: raisins, dried figs and baked apple, and where they fall to the unmistakable citrus, offering us hints of orange peel stuffed with the sweetness of the tartlets. Honey notes with floral notes serve as a bridge to end the aromas of the same aging, where toast, hazelnuts and hints of coffee end this show.

Taste: Entry into the mouth friendly but of great breadth. Absolute intensity in its passage through the mouth, where it is opulent and extremely seductive. Carbon with a velvety but fine texture joins with a powerful acidity. Long, fresh and persistent.

MATCHING

This sparkling wine will delight great meals. Ideal to accompany a whole tasting menu. Although, without a doubt, good company and great times are your best harmony.

To enhance the beauty of this great wine, we suggest serving it at 10ºC and drinking it in a large glass to promote oxygenation and, therefore, its expressiveness.

Enoteca Gramona goes on the market ready to drink now or keep it in proper conditions, enjoying it for years to come.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

"Gramona has been working its land uninterruptedly since the mid-19th century. Six generations of a family of winemaking tradition who for years have worked with respect and passion for the land and with an indisputable quality seal. True to a sustainable philosophy for our environment, we resort to biodynamic agriculture for growing our vineyards and for making our wines and sparkling wines "

Elaboration:

We take responsibility for every step of our winemaking, from the field to the bottle. We harvest the grapes manually, use the selection table, enter the grapes by gravity and press whole. Aged for more than 172 months. 100% handmade process. During the rest period in the silence of the cava, we use cork stopper, which allows for the longest aging. Use of desks. Removal and slaughter are performed manually. Brut, a tribute to sparkling wine as the best element to give pleasure and exalt the senses. We use the exclusive dosage that Gramona makes using the wines from our centenary solera. Moderate dosage of 7 grams per liter.

Finca Font de Jui:

The Finca Font de Jui estate consists of 22.5 hectares. 15 of them are Xarello and 7.5 are from Macabeo. They extend between the Anoia River (La Plana, 100mts above sea level) to the Mas Escorpí hill (350mts above sea level), which overlooks the village of Sant Sadurní, and their orientation slopes south With a clay-calcareous soil, with sandy plates by the river and with profusion of rock in the highest and driest area. Gramona works, like all the lands, with ecological and biodynamic philosophy.
