Originally from Borgoña the Pinot Noir is one of the most important grape varieties in the world. It is best suited for cold climates and cultivation is difficult because it is very sensitive to fungal diseases. It produces wines of medium body, low tannin concentration and good acidity. Intensely aromatic grape, highlighted by notes of cassis, cherry and strawberry, hints of leatherand liquorice and floral notes and truffles. Good potential for aging in oak, which will evolve elegantly aromas.
