Sandeman was founded in London, in the year 1790, by George Sandeman, a young and enterprising Scottish, which specialized in the marketing of wines of Jerez and Oporto. A thriving business that continues today. The growth of the business over these two centuries has been based on the balance between tradition and innovation, while respecting the heritage received and always trying to improve it. The DON of Sandeman, designed in 1928 by George Massiot Brown, is one of the first images of brand created in history. In 2002, Sandeman became part of SOGRAPE, a leading Portuguese wines, family-oriented and international dimension, with a large focus on the creation and development of brands.
