Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Red with garnet reflections. Medium / high layer intensity. Very nice to see.
Aroma: The nose has a wide range of aromas, including all the possible fruit styles, from red to the freshest fruit and the nuances of computerized fruit. Paired with elegant spicy notes, you can perceive small notes of coconut and vanilla brought by its barrel aging.
Taste: Powerful mouth entry. The palate is very voluminous, with tannins of very good freshness and undeniable elegance. Long, fresh and memorably unique finish.
Chicken with plums, pork ribs with teriyaki sauce, grilled pork secret, casserole noodles, pork feet with chickpeas.
AALTO was founded in February 1999 when Mariano García - who was the technical director and oenologist of Vega Sicily for 30 years - and Javier Zaccagnini - 6 years Director of the Regulatory Council of the DO Ribera del Duero - decided to unite their capabilities and experience to start a unique wine cellar. They started from a specific objective: to make a wine that, from the very beginning, showed a differentiated personality and was among the best in the world within 15 to 20 years.
AALTO PS (Selected Payments): exceptional wine. This wine arises from selection within the selection, with grapes coming from small payments or individual white hawthorn. We love to be able to offer this wine 7 or 8 vintages in each decade. After alcoholic fermentation, this wine is subjected to malolactic fermentation in new barrels. Its stay in wood is between 20 and 30 months in new French oak barrels.
