ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The history of the Cellar Contador starts in 1995, when the winemaker and winegrower Benjamín Romeo acquire an old cave under the castle of San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). In 1996 is elaborated the first harvest of their wine "La cueva del Contador" and they start to buy vineyards for their project. In 1999 they elaborate the first vintage of the wine "Contador". In the year 2000, after checking the good acceptance of the market and of the specialized media, Benjamín decided to focus the activity exclusively to its personal project.
