Colour

Straw yellow, green reflects, clear and bright.

AROMA:

Honest, aromatic, memories of tropical fruit, white flowers, pink grapefruit ... It also shows small toasted features from the oak.

TASTE:

Fresh, tasty and very fruity. Yellow plum and ripe peach, all pleasant. Excellent balance of fruit - acidity. Fun and current.

Suitable with a rice salad with pineapple and prawns. Superb if you add a light chardonnay vinaigrette.
Perfect with natural clams with creamy tomato.
Risotto with mushrooms and asparagus, or grilled hake with caramelized onion jam, can be good also good allies.

Ceferino Carrio was born in Santander in 1928. At the 50's he emigrated to the USA where a year later changed his name to Jean Leon.
He created his own restaurant in Beverly Hills on April 1st of 1956. The most famous names from Hollywood and from the politics attended to the event. Years later, Reagan chose Jean Leon Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 1975 to the opening of his term in 1980.
In 1963 they settled in the heart of the Alt Penedès. He was the implementerof Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in Spain, reaching the first vintages in 1969 and 1971 respectively.

Light aging in french oak barrels, and at least 3 months in the bottle.
Limited production: 45000 bottles.
