In 1979, Carlos Esteva decided to go to the farm of his grandfather, Can Ràfols dels Caus. Having bought the parts that were owned by his brothers, the slow rehabilitation of the noble building that was in a ruinous state began.

At the same time, it regenerates the exploitation of the vineyards, introducing new varieties and new forms of cultivation (emparrados), betting on the viability of own wine of own, singular character and creating a mark of proven quality.

Carlos Esteva becomes one of the few vitiviniculturists who live on the farm and strive to achieve their objectives while respecting the landscape and architecture of the place within a framework of sustainability.
