Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Yellow color with subtly golden reflections. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose is of extraordinary depth. Aromas of roses, lychee jam and with small notes that stand out with the strength of passion fruit. All bathed in a bed of spicy notes and minerals that give it a complexity that leaves no one indifferent.

TASTE:

Mouth where it is deep and meaty, while being balanced by its perfect acidity and the mineral texture characteristic of its terroir. Aftertaste with spicy notes and candied fruit that are discovered airy by a bitter taste.

Engelberg means the mountain of angels. It is a terroir classified as Grand Cru, and the quality of the wines produced in this place have been recognized since the ninth century. The soil is clayey and stony, and not very thick.

Manual harvest on November 4, 2016. Fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature, subsequent aging on fine lees until bottling in July 2018.
