TASTING NOTE
Colour

It shows an elegant maroon colour with ruby-like highlights.

AROMA:

Several notes dominate among all its complex aromas: fruit (raspberry, cherr y), toast, coffee, milk and fresh vegetables, with violet nuances.

TASTE:

It is a fresh, flavourful, lively and beautifully structured wine in which the red fruit notes and the oaky accents are perfectly integrated. It exhibits a smoky, leather and cacao after taste.

MATCHING
It is an ideal accompaniment to red meats, small game, spicy stew, oily fish and well-testured cheeses.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Viñas del Vero has this name due to a river in the region of Somontano, at the foot of the Pyrenees, famous for its cliffs, gorges and canyons. The first wines from the cellar appear on the market in the spring of 1990 and currently, Viñas del Vero is the first winery in the appellation of Somontano by volume and quality of production, with 1160 hectares of vineyards and a production of more than six million bottles annually.

In the 19th century, after the phylloxera attack in the French vineyards, a key event for the future of Somontano wine production took place: the Lalanne family and winery arrived from Bordeaux and Buenos Aires to Somontano and introduced grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot or Cabernet-Sauvignon in the region, which since then have been part of Somontano's wine heritage.
