TASTING NOTE
Colour

Red color with ruby reflections. Intense and brilliant.

AROMA:

Elegant, aromatic mid-high net. Highlight notes of red fruits, milk and vanilla. Fund roasted with mineral hints.

TASTE:

Opulent attack, nice and creamy in the mouth. Remember the ripe fruit with toasty notes. Long and persistent.

MATCHING
Perfect with chicken stew, baked rabbit, red meat grilled assorted sausages or cured.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Carme Casacuberta, with a degree in Chemical sciencies and winemaker, together with his husband Antoni Pena, industrial engineer, moved by their passion for wine launched in 2002 the project Olivardots in the term of Capmany. Located in a unique area and enclosed in 4 hectares of vine, in 2006 they built up the winery, designed to work with the help of the gravity, and adding new techniques to preserve the traditional working systems. Vinyes d'Olivardots currently has 9 hectares of vineyard owned.

Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Empordà
The appellation of Origin Empordà is located on the northern-east of Catalonia. The territory is distributed in two regions and 55 villages. 35 belong to Alt Empordà and the remaining 20 belong to Baix Empodrà. The average annual production reaches the 65000 hectoliters of wine with a planted surface of around 2000 hectares. From its beginnings the denomination was called Empordà-Costa Brava, but in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was deleted.
