Blecua

INFORMATION OF INTEREST Blecua

TASTING NOTE

Colour: Blecua is a spectacular deep cherry colour with violet nuances.

Aroma: Complex and intense on the nose, it exhibits elegant aromas from its ageing in oak barrels together with black fruit, menthol, spice (nutmeg and cinnamon), liquorice and fig.

Taste: Full bodied and well structured, its fruit-bearing richness stands out along with toasted and lactic notes. This is a wine that is delicious for drinking on release, although it will continue to improve in the bottle for at least 10 years.

MATCHING

We suggest it is deccanted or opened an hour before drinking. We suggest it is served as an ideal accompaniment to red meats and game, toast and cheeses.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Viñas del Vero has this name due to a river in the region of Somontano, at the foot of the Pyrenees, famous for its cliffs, gorges and canyons. The first wines from the cellar appear on the market in the spring of 1990 and currently, Viñas del Vero is the first winery in the appellation of Somontano by volume and quality of production, with 1160 hectares of vineyards and a production of more than six million bottles annually.
