TASTING NOTE
AROMA:

Arôme intense, marqué par des souvenirs de miel, de fruits glacés et des notes florales et citronnées.

TASTE:

This intense varietal character is enhanced by the toasted and spicy notes provided by the barrel. Excellent density on the palate. A magnificent balance of acidity and sugar, leaning more towards freshness and nerve than sweetness. Glyceric, luscious, and refreshing at the same time.

MATCHING
Best enjoyed well chilled, around 6 ºC, it pairs perfectly with foie-gras and blue cheeses, while also being ideal for desserts and enhancing fruit salads. A wine with great aging potential that will improve in the bottle over the coming years.

Wines D.O. Somontano
Wines fortifieds designation of origin D.O. Somontano
In the 19th century, after the phylloxera attack in the French vineyards, a key event for the future of Somontano wine production took place: the Lalanne family and winery arrived from Bordeaux and Buenos Aires to Somontano and introduced grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot or Cabernet-Sauvignon in the region, which since then have been part of Somontano's wine heritage.
