Juan Sanchez de la Torre, in 1781 laid the foundations of society Romate Sanchez Brothers, one of the few wineries that continues today in the hands of owners Jerez.
Over time, the winery has grown and adapted to successive technical advances maintaining respect for producing tradition. More than a century after its founding, the firm reaches one of its main goals when in 1887 the fourth generation of the Sanchez Romate choose to create a unique brandy for family and close friends. Thus is born Cardenal Mendoza Solera Gran Reserva brandy house logo. Today the wines and brandies of Sanchez Romate maintain its international focus, with a strong expansion in the five continents.
