Colour

Pale yellow with slightly steely gray tones.

AROMA:

High aromatic intensity. Memories of citrus peel, fennel, stone fruits with light toasted notes from the barrel.

TASTE:

Smooth and friendly entry with volume in balance with the freshness of the wine.

It harmonizes perfectly with dishes such as fish and seafood, but also soft dishes such as vegetables, creams and cheeses.

Service temperature from 8º to 12º C.

Viña Pomal reflects in this wine the best winemaking tradition of the Rioja Alta in the production of white wines of great freshness and balance. After a hundred years of history producing high quality wine and consolidated prestige, the unbeatable situation of its own vineyard, in the municipality of Haro, is added.

Elaboration:
Viña Pomal Blanco is made from the traditional varieties of the region: Viura and Malvasía. After stripping, a short film maceration takes place ( 6 h ) and its subsequent pressing. The flower must is fermented in new American oak and French oak barrels ( 50/50 ) at a temperature of 15-18º C, remaining in contact with its lees during these 4 months. Helped by soft batonages, the wine increases complexity and increases its volume in the mouth.
