On the nose, aromas of black fruit, violet flower and a hint of licorice are present. All assembled with a mineral finish, elegant and extremely complex.
Entry in the mouth with very good volume. It is a well structured round wine, which harmonizes perfectly with a very pronounced softness. Long finish with silky tannins.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
