TASTING NOTE
Colour

Bright pale yellow with gray trim. Clean, limpid.

AROMA:

Free, soft, delicate. Records with fruity floral.

TASTE:

Fresh and elegant. Light on the palate, notes of apple and pear. Nice finish, invites to drink another glass.

MATCHING
Perfect with salads, grilled vegetables, fried fish, calamari, cuttlefish with peas, steamed shellfish or Galician octopus.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
According to certify the stone threshold of the entrance to the oldest champagne house Oliveda as wines were produced from 1764 to the property for family consumption. In 1948, Joseph and Oliveda Casanova and his wife Joan Rigau Ros, founded the company engaged in the production and marketing of wines. Currently Oliveda has a wine production that is split between two denominations of origin "Empordà" and "Catalonia" and a production of champagne belonging to DO "Cava".

Wines whites designation of origin D.O. Catalunya
Established on 1999, the denomination of origin Catalunya includes the majority of the Catalan winemaking towns. The planted surface raises the 60.000 hectares and the annual production moves around the 60 millions of liters. The purpose of creating a D.O that overlaps the other Catalan appellations was to give more freedom and flexibility to the producers with the aim of promoting the creativity and the experimentation. The main differences are the use of a major number of grape varieties and the permissiveness to make blends with grapes from different zones, in addition to the inclusion of winemaking towns which could not integrate to any other appellation.
