Colour

Limpio, límpido y brillante. Color rojo con reflejos granates, presenta una capa de intensidad media. Muy agradable a la vista.

AROMA:

Captivating entry on the nose, where the ripe fruit with small nuances of vanilla and cocoa stands out with a good balance.

TASTE:

Entry in the mouth where it is presented with vivacity, silkiness, and where it shows a long persistence with balanced, fresh and warm tannins.

If one can speak of excellence in reference to land for cultivating vineyards, then Ulls Negres is born here. Among the towns of Rabós and Vilamaniscle,
Forming part of what we call “massís de l’Albera”, they are stony lands where licorella and a microclimate typical of mountain vineyards stand out. Vineyards without irrigation and very low production.



Double selection: in a first selection, the grapes are chosen manually, selecting as a priority those of the highest quality, preferably from the lower part of the vine. Upon arrival at the winery, a second separation is carried out on the selection table. Vinification takes place in small stainless steel tanks, with long macerations and controlled fermentation. Highlight the aging in 4,500 liter French oak barrels, where Ulls Negres rounds out its personality, with the nuances of this wood from trees in central France that are more than 200 years old, but without losing its true spirit where the protagonist is this magnificent grape.
