Golden yellow, it is clean and bright.

AROMA:

Good potency, it is aromatic, the union of two olfactory families, aromas of acidic white fruits, greens (apple, pear, ripe peach) with the aging notes of its phase and barrel (vanilla, spices, roasted) Interesting and elegant on the nose.

TASTE:

It is dynamic, lively, very good entry, dry with nuances of ripe fruit, apple, light vegetables, fennel and a presence of smoked, very light toasts. Well constituted, long finish on the palate, persistent.

Ideal with dishes with high gustatory power (Rice with seafood, lobster, lobster, Menorcan lobster stew, mountain rice with chicken and rabbit). Original with white meats with light sauces, cheeses and smoked sausages. Service temperature from 10 to 12º C.

The first written references to winemaking for marketing to Fina Viladellops date back to the end of the 19th century, more specifically in the year 1877, and continued uninterrupted until 1980. The activity restarts from 1999, coinciding with the incorporation of the current generation of the Desvalls family with a new project for the production of 100% Mediterranean quality wines. Wines that seek to transmit the typicality from the apostaper to the indigenous varieties of the area as the base of their wines: Garnacha for red wines and Xarel.lo for whites. Finca Viladellops is located next to the Olèrdola castle, in the Penedès wine region, 45 km away. from Barcelona. Olèrdola's origins go back to the Iberians; and its historical and strategic importance has been perpetuated throughout time, being in the medieval times a border city with the Muslim world. On the side of the mountain that surrounds the winery, you can see the terraces with olive, almond, and vineyards, crops that have been the property's agricultural base since time immemorial. THE VINEYARDS The Finca Viladellops property consists of 500 hectares, in the middle of the Garraf Massif, formed by Mediterranean forest, cereal and 60 hectares of vineyard registered in the DO Penedès. On the farm you can see an important number of vestiges of the traditional agriculture of the area, such as the dry stone barracks (with a total of 25 buildings), stone margins and water holes punctured in the rock; things that demonstrate the important agricultural tradition of the farm from time immemorial. Terroir: Finca Viladellops is located in the Garraf Massif, a mountainous massif that extends to the Mediterranean Sea. On the farm located 250 m. Above sea level, only very poor in clay-calcareous texture, with a high percentage of active lime, we found a large amount of sediments and marine fossils, an unequivocal vestige that in earlier times it had been the seabed. Ecology: Finca Viladellops has carefully preserved for years the landscape, the architecture and its surroundings. Following the philosophy of the property, the entire vineyard has been registered with the Catalan Council for Ecological Agrarian Production (CCPAE), which is why current wines are officially certified as organic wines.
