Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Pale yellow with greenish reflections. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

In the nose, it is the expressiveness of the varietal character in its maximum state. The first contact in the glass with the floral aromas, together with those of the white and tropical fruit, emerge with all their personality, where pear, apple, mango, pineapple and lychee dance. And all, harmonized with marked notes of infused chamomile, fennel and subtle smoky touches where they remember their small stay in oak barrels.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth where its freshness seduces you from the first moment. Once again the floral and tropical notes are expressed in the nose, where they are balanced with an equal perfection with a very lively acidity.

To accompany it perfectly with a cold noodle salad with tangerine and nuts, pasta dishes with sautéed vegetables, grilled fish (sea bass).

And here is one of the most famous white wines in the new world, responsible for the great fame of Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand.

Its history is relatively young, since the vineyards were planted in 1984 in the Wairau Valley (Malborough). The origin of the name Cloudy Bay, the firm Thomas Cook, had little to break its head in order to baptize the valley (as the name implies) is still submerged in almost constant fog.

The winery currently owns four vineyards in Malborough with stone, gravel, clay and alluvial sand soils, where apart from the Sauvignon blanc it produces monovarietals of chardonnay, pinot noir, gewustraminer, pinot gris, a fantastic riesling, along with two sparkling.

Fermented in stainless steel vats, where a small proportion is in French oak barrels, organoleptically giving it an extraordinary structure.
