It is a bright straw yellow wine. This feature denotes its youth.
The nose is reminiscent of white and yellow flesh fruits. It has a very intense aromatic expression. As it rests in the glass, floral and citrus aromas appear, coming from the Grenache gris.
It has an impressive entry on the palate, although little by little its freshness will lead us to notes of orange blossom and white flowers. It is a sweet wine with an acidity that makes it light, balancing the volume provided by the Garnacha Gris.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
