Colour

Golden yellow with greenish reflections.

AROMA:

Intense aromas of tropical fruits, citric and attractive floral notes.

TASTE:

In palate is very concentrated, with pronounced flavours of pears and figs, smoothly interlaced with notes of vanilla and sweet species from the ageing in oak. The end is clean and fresh, whit a lively and refreshing acidity.

Catena Zapata started to elaborate the line Alamos i 1993, as a second brand after Catena. The grapes come from the youngest vineyards of the Catena family, located in the best areas from the upper zone of Mendoza. The yield per hectare is low and haversting is always handmade. The aim is being loyal to "the home style" of intense wines, concentrated and with great varietal expression.
