Colour

New gold colour, clear, bright. Delicate perlage, soft and very small bubble, well integrated. Crown formation in the glass surface.

AROMA:

Extraordinary aromatic complexity, high intensity, clean and elegant. Candied fruit notes with nuances of peach syrup, pears in wine, apple tart with minreal notes. All over a background of ageing, toasted, smoked and species such as cinnamon and ginger.

TASTE:

Spectacular attack, powerful and evolution aroma. Excellence balance between alcohol and acidity. Sublim and creamy in palate, where ripe fruit is mixed with minerality notes. Long end and fleshy, memories of toasted from ageing in barrel.

Devaluated importance of the plate/course due to the exclusivity of the product, we recommend to taste this jewell with the proper comapny and combined with high level products. Caviar can act as an organoleptic enhancer of the cava.
To serve at 10ºC, its best moment is after few minutes of ventilation.

Exclusively from our own vines, situated on our estates at Can Romeu (Sant Sadurní d’Anoia), La Pedra Blanca (Subirats) and Can Rosell de la Serra (Torrelavit), all in the “Alt Penedès” region. These old vineyards, planted in loamy soil texture ,highly calcareous soil, provide low-rate production of grapes of high quality in terms of consistency, concentration and expression. Harvesting is carried out manually and all the vines are reared without the use of herbicides or insecticides, to respect local biodiversity and the environment.
The vineyards (property from Recaredo)were planted in the 1940, with a surface of 0,98 hectares and goblet pruned. It's located in the north of the mountain "Turó d'en Mota", on the north-western of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. Extremely calcareous soil.
