Straw yellow colour with greenish hues, very brightly and clean. It shows a wonderful thin bubble, with a persistent crown and a well integrated carbonic.
It has an aromatic nose, with nuances of golden apples, aniseed flavours, vegetables. An aromatic very pleasant as a whole.
In mouth its a lively wine, tasty, with a rounded step by mouth. It feels creamy and stands out his ageing nuances (toasted butter, toffee caramel). It leaves us a long and persistent end.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
