TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Garnet color with ruby reflections. High layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

Its nose blend forms a perfect symbiosis. Elegance and complexity, where the aromas of berries (wild strawberries) are linked with the spicy touches of green peppercorns and minerals.

TASTE:

Mouth where the complexity is again responsible for its passage through the palate. Firm tannins but perfectly balanced and persistent. Long, wide and fresh finish.

MATCHING
Chicken with ratatouille, magret with orange sauce, fatty fish (baked turbot), cheeses and sausages.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The wines of Marquès de Griñón are made in two payments with very different terroirs. The first is the Domini de Valdepusa payment, located in the Toledo district of Malpica de Tajo (Castilla-La Mancha). The farm covers an area of 50 hectares, of which 42 are currently cultivated, including the original vineyard (14 hectares) of Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 1974. Since 1991, the vineyard has been expanded with Syrah varieties. (1991) and Petit verdot (1992) -both pioneers in Spain- as well as with Graciano (2000). The Falcons have always been able to surround themselves with the best experts in the world in their respective specialties, such as agronomist Claude Bourguignon and his wife Lydia, responsible for vineyards as revered as Domaine de la Romanée Conti or Domaine Leflaive. He has also worked with Richard Smart and the famous Bordeaux oenologist Michel Rolland.
