TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean and bright. Cherry color with violet reflections, with very good intensity of layer and very pleasing to the eye.

AROMA:

In the nose, it is the perfect conjunction of the three varieties with the contribution of their respective aging. It presents very good aromatic intensity and complexity, aromas of red fruits and red fruits that are in perfect conjunction with the notes of chocolate and spices (tertiary aromas), which refer to their aging in the best wooden barrels of Brands of Griñón.

TASTE:

In the mouth, it is wonderfully seductive, where it is presented clean, round, elegant and with a charming gustative potency. Well-balanced tannins just harmonize this sensational experience.
End in the mouth where the fruit returns to take center stage, being the main cherries and fruits of forest. Long and with a formidable persistence.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
In 1997, Carlos Falcó. Michel Rolland and Julio Mourelle assembled the first Emeritus, which reached the market at the end of 2000. Currently, this wine is made from the grapes that come from Valdepusa's historic vineyards: Cabernet Sauvignon (planted in 1974) and Petit Verdot (1992), along with small proportions of Syrah (1991) and Graciano (2000). The character of the Toledan terroir -the Malpica vineyards are located in the area of greatest insolation of the peninsula- defines the generous, complex and warm profile of this great red wine.
Foundational plots of the Valdepusa vineyard, planted in predominantly limestone soils, at an altitude of 500 m above sea level. Continental weather. The soils of the Valdepusa domain are formed by a superficial layer of clay with a thickness of 30 to 50 cm, which rests on a limestone subsoil, fragmented 2 or more meters deep, which was formed in the Cretaceous period. The climate is continental, with marked contrasts between summers, dry and hot, and cold winters, but also between night and day in each season. The precipitations reach an average of about 450 mm. The vineyards are located around an average height of 490 meters above sea level.
