Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, has a medium-high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

Nose entry where its delicacy seduces you from the first moment. Aromas of candied red and black fruit (raspberries, cherries, plums, blackberries) are accompanied by balsamic notes. With the corresponding aeration, the complexity is expressed by offering us the catalog of tertiary aromas, with hints of chocolate, licorice and the most vegetable.

TASTE:

In the mouth it welcomes you with a sublime elegance. Its passage through the palate is fleshy (where its powerful fruit load stands out) but fresh and very well structured. Tannins present and with character but well integrated. Long, fresh and persistent finish.

A perfect wine to accompany with meat and a certain gustatory power. Thanks to its fruity load, it will go hand in hand with a chicken with plums, duck breast with red fruit sauce, and of course, the famous beef entrecote with four-cheese sauce.

Viñas del Vero owes its name to a river in the Somontano region, at the foot of the Pyrenees, famous for its ravines, gorges and canyons. Viñas del Vero S.A. It was established in Somontano in late 1986 with the acquisition of 550 hectares of land in Barbastro and other nearby towns. In 1987, the land began to be replanted with vineyards of the traditional varieties of the region (Tempranillo, Moristel, Garnacha and Macabeo), along with others from different origins (Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir). The first wines from the winery appear on the market in the spring of 1990 and are made in an experimental winery in Salas Bajas. In 1987, the company had acquired the “San Marcos” farm for the construction of the new winery, which would be inaugurated in July 1993. In it, the entire production process of Viñas del Vero is carried out, from the selection of the Harvest until aging and bottling. The winery has a capacity of 70,000 hectoliters and has 250 stainless steel tanks and 8,000 American and French oak barrels.
