Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with dark garnet reflections, where it has a high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose is presented with an intensity where the sensation of black fruit is very developed. It shows good complexity in glass, as the minutes the notes of a fine and refined wood surface with delicacy and know-how. It should be noted that aromas from aging are combined, such as the distinctive chocolate and tobacco, where they will be harmonized by a minerality that will give it an exceptional freshness.

TASTE:

Mouth entry where the weight of the black fruit takes over again. Voluminous and silky palate that manages to balance with fine and polished tannins. Friendly, long, elegant and sophisticated finish.

It will go hand in hand with elaborate dishes, cured cheeses, sausages and will manage to adapt perfectly with the blue fish.

At the end of the eighties, a new generation renews the wine sector of Rioja. Mario Rotllant and Carmen Daurella arrive in La Rioja with the firm intention of creating a project that will bring something new to the world of wine. Then begins an exciting, ambitious, demanding and unpublished adventure: Bodegas Roda. In Roda, are wines from other years never used to standardize or refresh a harvest? Nor are vinifications bought from other wineries. Do you control about twenty wine payments distributed in the best ecosystems in the area of which the best are vinified every year? Is the vinification carried out in French oak vats with temperature control? In addition, the aging is done 100% in French oak barrels.
