Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, and where presented a high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

Nose entry where complexity is undoubtedly the protagonist. Subtlety and elegance go hand in hand with truly seductive aromas. Notes of ripe black fruit emerge with small touches of a more vibrant red fruit, and in minutes it gives way to aromas from its stay in barrels, where smoky, toasted and hints of cocoa will dance with a spectacular symbiosis.

Slight cloud of fine smoke that surrounds the ensemble, leaving grand spaces. Freshness in abundance, the feeling of a far field of fresh violets that the wind brings together with the smell of the soil.

Elegant, subtle, fine, great..., indescribable.

TASTE:

.On the palate with a majestic power but which is dressed in a fantastic delicacy, unless it is helped by fine, ripe and integrated tannins that are a real caress for the palate. Long-distance, and with an immensity that will not leave you indifferent. Bulky, wide and long finish.

A huge wine, but not excessive. A great wine of an extraordinary vintage.

Although the foundation of Roda dates back to 1987, the building of the winery only began in 1991 and was completed in 2001 and was completed in three different phases. The first part was made by the architect Roses, and the last and most emblematic phase was directed by the architects of Llimona Ruiz-Recorder.

A vineyard on a terrace protruding like the ties of a boat from the Haro district of the Station to the river Ebro was transformed into the current location of the winery. Here, an underground winery, which fell 12 meters below the surface, was used once in the 19th century, when local winemakers stored their crops before sending them by rail to Bordeaux to alleviate the crisis. caused by the phylloxera epidemic.

Cirsion, is a wine from selected vineyards where the grapes have matured in an exceptional way.

"In 1995 we discovered that some strains produced grapes whose flavor was very different from that of the surrounding plants. They gave us a feeling of fullness, volume, with records closer to a wine than to a grape. Two years later, we made our first Cirsion, which did not go on the market and we verified that with a short aging, it reached an incredible level of silkiness and an unusual fruit complexity.Each vintage we go through the vineyards looking for this curious natural rarity and thus, one in a thousand, collect the Cirsion grapes."
