TASTING NOTE
Colour

Bright and clean, with an intense garnet color.

AROMA:

It is clean and rich in nuances typical of the passage of time. The character of the fruit in the form of red and black predominates. Balsamic notes, aromas of aging in the form of vanilla, nutmeg and coconut. Notes of undergrowth and spices.

TASTE:

In the mouth it is balanced, tasty, suggestive and long. Notes of cedar wood and coffee liqueur are appreciated. Very persistent.

MATCHING
It goes well with hearty dishes: roast lamb, red meats and stews with elaborate sauces.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Ramón Bilbao is an essential winery in La Rioja, located in Haro. In 2024 it celebrated its centenary. The Gran Reserva is made with a traditional blend: Rioja: 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo. Grapes come from vineyards over 60 years old, which macerate cold for 4 days before fermentation. The malolactic conversion takes place in concrete tanks and then the wine is aged for 30 months in 225l American oak barrels. Finally, the wine rests for 4 years in the bottle in the winery.
