TASTING NOTE
Colour

Intense ruby-red colour.

AROMA:

Toasty, warm scents of plum, candied cherry and liquorice, with a suggestion of roasted coffee aromas.

TASTE:

Plush, round and almost sweet in its display of ripe cherry and strawberry fruit. Finishes with silky tannins, a repeating note of strawberry and very good length.

MATCHING
Consume with lamb and suckling pig roasts, lamb chops cooked over vine cuttings, semi-cured goat cheeses, and oven-roasted fowl.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
More than a working philosophy, the four wineries that form the wine heritage of Alejandro Fernández – the Pesquera Corporation: Pesquera, Condado de Haza, El Vinculo and Dehesa La Granja – share the same story of love for the viniculture that time helped to perfect. The bonds with its home land are clearly expressed in the symbol of the group: the image of the Arch and the Tower of Pesquera de Duero, typical of its flagships, the “Tinto Pesquera’.

Ribera del Duero is one of the most important wine-growing regions in Spain, is located in Castilla y León and embraces a part of the Duero basin. Limited in the east by the town of San Esteban de Gormaz and in the west by Quintanilla de Onessimo, Ribera del Duero has a surface of 21000 hectares and an annual production of barely 56 million of liters.
