TASTING NOTE
Colour

Attractive, deep red. Bright and clear with noteworthy glyceric and liquid consistency.

AROMA:

Increasing in intensity with bootle age, opening in flavour and complexity and showing great promise for further development. Rich, smoky and wild on the nose, with scents of candied plum, cherry liqueur, charred meat, espresso, tobacco and cigar box.

TASTE:

Full-textured and powerful, finishing dry with intense fruit concentration. Acid, alcohol and dry extract combine for round and rich flavour, the abundant tannins becoming more refined with additional aging. Fruit and fine oak return on the finish, which is lingering and persistent.
Powerful, densely packed dark fruit flavours are accented by exotic spice and earthy nuances, and supported by a firm, tannic frame. Although the tannins are nicely absorbed by the rich fruit with some aeration.

MATCHING
Dishes will be perfect with a taste not very high potency, could be a free-range chicken with crawfish or a roast beef.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
More than a working philosophy, the four wineries that form the wine heritage of Alejandro Fernández – the Pesquera Corporation: Pesquera, Condado de Haza, El Vinculo and Dehesa La Granja – share the same story of love for the viniculture that time helped to perfect. The bonds with its home land are clearly expressed in the symbol of the group: the image of the Arch and the Tower of Pesquera de Duero, typical of its flagships, the “Tinto Pesquera’.
