Visually it is a crismson-colored wine with ocre reflections provided by the oak.
In nose we find memories of tobaco and spice aromas melted in the variety as gooseberries and strawberries.
Fresh in the mouth initially, with the tannin present connotations of maturation and roundness. Unctuous final.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
