Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections. Medium - high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose has a great aromatic complexity. The first contact surprises you with a floral fan that surrounds you from start to finish, where the violets wrap you from the first moment. In the glass minutes, the notes evolve offering us the sweetest candied fruit with spices and balsamic touches.

TASTE:

Delicate and elegant mouthfeel. It boasts a freshness filled with sweet tannins, which make its passage through the palate slim and refined.

Perfect to accompany it with feather hunting dishes; roasted quail with mushrooms, duck with plums, stuffed turkey, mushroom cannelloni with truffle and semi-cured cheeses.

The grapes for the winery come from the oldest vineyards in the O Barco area, located on slopes on the mountain terraces between 450 and 500 meters above sea level.

The composition of the terrain is metamorphic slate, although some granite can be seen in other vineyards in this D.O. The vines are cultivated 450-550 meters above sea level and the Mencía soils are a mixture of decomposed limestone and quartz.
The mountains protect the vines and moderate the strong climate influence of the Atlantic. The Sil River Valley creates a microclimate that ensures the vines receive enough sunlight in a region where annual rainfall is abundant.


The vinification in this winery is artisanal and the aging of the wines is carried out exclusively in barrels, for 11 months.
