Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with violet reflections, has a high layer intensity. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

The nose has a great aromatic complexity, where a small trip between the primary and tertiary aromas is made. From the notes of black fruit (blackberries, figs and plums), florals and herbs (rose petals and grass), and ending with empirical aromas (such as smoked and toasted caramel).

TASTE:

Entry into mouth where it does not disappoint Balance the finesse, the elegance, the creaminess and the taste, all combined with fresh and present tannins that add character. Retronasal route where the computerized black fruit appears. Long, fresh and persistent finish.

To accompany ... Lamb lamb with grilled vegetables, assortment of cured sheep cheeses, beef steak tartar, carpaccio of pork feet with vinaigrette, goat cheese salads and blue fish with different cooking.

Amaya Arzuaga Collection is a red wine from Ribera del Duero that was born from the collaboration between a father and his daughter. The father, Don Florentino Arzuaga, owner of Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro, brings his experience in winemaking. The daughter, the renowned fashion designer Amaya Arzuaga, puts creativity and style on the outside of the bottle.
Amaya Arzuaga Collection is a single varietal of Tinto Fino from very old vines planted on two farms. The first with clayey soils with sand and alluvial edges and the second with limestone soil that provides a deep minerality.
The harvest is carried out manually in boxes of 15 Kg. The clusters go through a selection process before incubation, and undergo daily treading before fermentation, which will last for 14 days applying punching.
Amaya Arzuaga Collection ages for almost 20 months in French barrels of different origins, with prolonged drying and deep roasting but at low temperature.

This wine comes from very old vines, pre-phylloxera, located in soils with additional characteristics (terrains of sandstones and alluvium complemented by limestone soils at high altitudes) that combine its best qualities, achieving a spectacular result

The clusters were selected to cover them with their own scrape and proceeding daily to light treading before the start of the alcoholic fermentation. After the start of the fermentation, in addition to the treading of the bunches, the necessary punching was performed. 20 days after the grape entry it was discovered.

The wine was introduced into 14 new French oak barrels from different forests, to achieve the aromatic complexity that characterizes it; The aging in barrels lasted from mid-October 2014 to June 2016, when the wine was bottled.
