Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Ruby red color with tiled reflections, and where it has a medium - high layer intensity. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

The nose is complexity, where its bottle years offer us its best aromatic catalog. Fragrant cranberry and blackberry aromas appear, sprinkled with spicy liquorice and unmistakable vanilla. With its corresponding evolution in the glass the tertiary notes appear where the leather and tobacco leaves will be responsible for its completion in the glass.

TASTE:

Entry into the mouth where the contradiction is brought with an exceptional balance, it is velvety but of elegance and firmness that does not go unnoticed, of medium body but with present and very tannins that give it the freshness characteristic of the great wines of Arzuaga . Long finish and very good persistence.

Arzuaga Gran Reserva will harmonize well with game dishes such as wild boar, red wine venison ragout, stews and lean meats.

The grapes come from centuries-old vineyards, the most valuable for their very low, high-quality yields. The harvest was done manually in small 10 kg boxes to take maximum care of the fruits. After going through the selection table, only the best grapes participate in this Gran Reserva, which underwent malolactic maceration and aging in new French oak barrels (48 months).

The Arzuaga family has continued to reap success since it founded its winery in the 1990s.
