TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections. Medium - high layer intensity. Very nice to see.

AROMA:

Nose with good complexity, where the primary and tertiary aromas (of the same aging) blend perfectly with each other. Fresh notes of red fruit (cherry and currant), and where it develops and gives way to ripe plum. Then, with the correct aeration, the most balsamic and spicy notes appear, liquorice, black pepper and mint, together with the vanilla, to the fullest.

TASTE:

The palate is powerful, spacious and has a good sense of warmth. Pass through the palate with soft and elegant tannins, and where it evolves with subtle hints of cocoa and cassis. Long and persistent.

MATCHING
Perfect to accompany the dishes with more character of our gastronomy. Roasts, cannelloni stuffed with Béchamel and foie gras, canned snails, red meats (either braised or grilled) beef with mushrooms, fricandó, pork feet stewed with chickpeas. Etc.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Abadal 3.9 is the farm wine of Masies d'Avinyó, the wine that best expresses the characteristics of the terroir: limestone on red clay with forest areas around it that give the wine minerality and a rich expression of aromas, especially balsamic. .

NOTE: It is recommended to open the bottle about 30 minutes before serving.

(The Finca de Masies d'Avinyó comprises different polygons and plots. In polygon 3, plot 9, we find the oldest Cabernet and Syrah vines with which Abadal 3.9 is made.)
