INFORMATION OF INTEREST Viña Gravonia 2010
Colour: Clean and bright. Pale yellow color with slightly golden light reflections. Very pleasing to the eye.
Aroma: In the nose, a feeling of maturity and humidity that surrounds you, shows soft iodines and quite evolved fruit that surprises those who are accustomed to the youngest and freshest whites. In driven cup it offers a range of aromas that are much fresher and certainly citrus.
Taste: Dry mouth entry, with a captivating acidity that will allow you to evolve in this fantastic wine over time. In the mouth the aromas that we found in the nose repeat, where the citrus notes and slightly evolved fruit appear again.
It is an easy drink, fluid, medium bodied, perfect companion for less complex appetizers and dishes, mushrooms, fatty cheeses and any soft dish that combines with these ingredients
López de Heredia - Viña Tondonia is especially known and admired for its whites, and Gravonia Vineyard is a very good option to know your good work, a first step, of course much more affordable and accessible.
Only with its appearance, its color, is demonstrated the extraordinary work of this winery, true masters in the art of aging wine: notice how little evolved this white is; bred for four years in barrels in American oak, with a long maturation in bottle until today, and still wears a beautiful gold color without evolving.
Viña Gravonia is the most humble of the house but its complexity is more than remarkable.
