Clean and bright, has a pale straw yellow colour with metallic reflections and various shades of green.
A high aromatic intensity, the aromas are clean, own the Ondarrabi Zuri. Balsamic aromas predominate over a fruity background apple pippin, after which can be seen a citrus coverage of bitter orange peel, along with a hint herbaceous reminiscent of fresh sage.
It has a soft entry, with good volume and no edges, the txakoli explodes in the mouth again give us the apple and citrus, which overlap with soothing tones of aniseed and fennel herbs. The persistence on the palate is long, with a pleasantly bitter end, typical of the Ondarrabi Zuri.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
