Colour: Pale yellow, clean and very bright.
Aroma: Of great aromatic power, highly perfumed within the family of ripe white fruits (water pear, vine peach, melon), slightly any floral notes (garden flowers).
Taste: Very tasty, a wine with a very light, subtle entry and mouthfeel. With a fruity character the nose aromas are transferred to the taste phase, flavors of ripe sweet fruit, tropical fruit (pineapple, lychee), it is very pleasant. It is a wine with great finesse, young and fresh. "Like we were on a honeymoon."
Fresh cuisine, ideal with salads of all kinds including different elements such as cheese, foie, seafood, nuts, fresh fruit ... Original salads and taste contrasts.
Also excellent with exotic cuisine (Oriental, Japanese).
Serving temperature from 5 to 7º C.
The farmhouse of Parés Baltà. Original from 1790, it was built in three phases. The winery is attached to the farmhouse and when you visit it you can see the evolution in the different uses of the spaces.
A winery with 220 years of history. In 1978 it passed into the hands of Joan Cusiné Hill. Born in 1917 in Bellvei del Penedès and the son of a family of winegrowers, he dedicated his life to the cultivation of vineyards. He started working at the age of 7 and it could be said that he never retired. At 80 years old, he still helped his grandchildren by controlling part of the viticulture.
Starting in 2000, the third generation of the Cusiné family took over, consisting of Joan and Josep Cusiné Carol. Together they take over the leadership with the active collaboration of their father. They bring new visions and ideas but always maintaining respect for tradition and heritage.
The Honeymoon white wine is made from 100% Parellada grapes and belongs to the DO Penedés. The vineyards are located on the El Subal estate at a height of 630 meters above sea level, located north of Vilafranca del Penedés. All its manufacturing process is Ecologically certified. This excellent white wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks at a controlled temperature of 16ºC.
