Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Yellow color with gray reflections. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

Grenache with exceptional aromatic potential. The notes of fruit are in a second term, as the secondary aromas take over. We find hints of undergrowth, cereal, honey, chamomile and small balsamic brushstrokes of menthol that help to refresh.

TASTE:

Mouth-watering with the complexity we could expect from Terra Alta Grenaches. Elegant and structured palate, and where its millimeter silkiness leads us to an intense and persistent finish.

Baked fish, lobster broth rice, grilled seafood, cured cheeses, pâtés, white meats and sea and mountain like chicken with prawns.

Francesc Ferré's parents owned small plots of land and combined field work with other professions. Arriving at the moment when Francesc and his little brother, Joan, decided that they wanted to be, the vineyard and the land that they both carried inside as children, made them decide for the field. At the Ferré house, wine had always been made, but they had never considered marketing it; the grapes were sold to the cooperative in small cellars. There came a day when the winery that bought them most of the grapes stopped doing so and from that moment the first wine emerged. They set up their own winery as an act of rebellion, trying to value their lands. While Francesc was studying agricultural engineering in Tarragona, he combined his studies with the work of the family winery, his father gave him a first tank in which to work, and Francesc threw himself headlong into the adventure of making wine. . From the conviction that their lands had a special character that they had to make worthwhile, they began to work discreetly in very modest facilities that the wine of each year has allowed to expand progressively. Francesc is, together with his brother Joan, one of the few young people in the village of Corbera who have dared to cultivate the land and take care of its fruits. The wines are a faithful reflection of his personality, seemingly untidy, but also precise, and full of history like Corbera.
