Medium-high intensity with aromas of ripe tropical fruit, canned pineapple, banana, melon, pear, and a hint of grapefruit. Bakery and dairy aromas, butter, white flower, and yeast
Luscious, with a slightly sweet entry, smooth with ripe aromas of pear, grape, melon, and Granny Smith apple. In the middle of the mouth, the slightly balsamic grapefruit is distinguished, with new hints of tropical fruit, banana. In the aftertaste, it is slightly watery and refreshes the smoothness, revealing its mineral background from the soils of the forest, with saline nuances, chalk, and acacia aromas.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
