TASTING NOTE
Colour

The wine is pearlescent. A pale, lustrous gold with a fine, lively mousse.

AROMA:

The nose is complex yet ethereal. Wonderfully refined, it is intriguing and exciting. Its minerality complemented by hints of white flowers, acacia and hawthorn. A salty note enhances aromas of bread crust, brioche and the merest hint of green apple and hazelnut.

TASTE:

The palate is quintessentially pure, the very epitomy of balance and restraint. Exuberant on attack, the mousse becomes more a caress whilst bubbles dance playfully on the palate; its delicate allure emulating the sensuous grace of a silk veil at dawn.

MATCHING
We could serve with seafood (lobster) or crustaceans, steamed or grilled, also with light fish (sea bass with saffron, or crayfish gratin), or with unique or gourmet products as well would be Iranian caviar.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Fiercely attached to tradition and to the authenticity of their terroir, the sister houses of Salon and Delamotte work continually to render its fullest expression. The same eye to perfection reigns over the destinies of their champagnes, Salon and Delamotte. Driven by respect for honest tradition, the team perpetuates an expertise based on passion, rigour and patience. The name Le Mesnil resonates in a special way with lovers of great wine. Nestled in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, 100% Chardonnay and 100% grand cru, this is the king of Champagne vineyards. It is here that the most profound expression of Chardonnay's delicate freshness truly comes to the fore, where magnanimous nature offers a wine that is purity itself.
