INFORMATION OF INTEREST Rosé Chateau Puech-Haut Argali 2019

TASTING NOTE

Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Pale pink color with grayish reflections. Very nice to look at.

Aroma: In the nose it is presented with remarkable intensity. It is frank, clear and seductive, where the primary aromas of red fruit take over the glass, giving us hints of currant, cherries and wild strawberries.

Taste: Mouth where elegance is more than assured. It is fresh at the same time tasty, with a very lively acidity, but which is perfectly integrated into the wine. Finish with a very persistent freshness.

MATCHING

Ideal with Mediterranean cuisine: starters, snacks, rice and seafood and fantastic with Japanese cuisine. Good companion with white meats, it is excellent with a Provencal chicken.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The history of Château Puech-Haut is that of a man who grew a vineyard just as he built his life. Gérard Bru started out of nowhere to realize his dream.

The beginning of the great adventure in Puech Haut came with the purchase of a plot of about 30 hectares of vineyard in the northwest of that city. A soil of clayey and calcareous soil, with pebbles, ideal for cultivating the vineyard.
Meanwhile, Bru hired Michel Rolland to work with him between 1996 and 2006, who, together with his winemaker Mathieu Ciampi and Philippe Cambie, one of the Rhone's greatest experts, began to make great wines in this place in France.

Today, the vineyard on property stretches for 184 hectares and is planted with the white varieties Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, and the red Garnacha, Syrah and Carignan.

All of them are divided between the Côteaux du Languedoc, Pic Saint Loup (19 hectares) and Saint Drézéry (92 hectares), two small AOP in Languedoc.
