PARKER
Cherry red with ruby trim. Clear and bright, good tear, uniform and light falling.
Medium-high intensity, it shows clean aromas of red ripe fruits that give way to spicy, good roasted, balsamic and floral notes.
Good attack, intense entry, serene and elegant ranged marked by a medium body, a well-defined acidity and soft tanins, smooth and polished. Pleasant sour notes that lead to a long and persistent end of roasted and fruity notes.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
