Colour: Cherry red with ruby trim. Clear and bright, good tear, uniform and light falling.
Aroma: Medium-high intensity, it shows clean aromas of red ripe fruits that give way to spicy, good roasted, balsamic and floral notes.
Taste: Good attack, intense entry, serene and elegant ranged marked by a medium body, a well-defined acidity and soft tanins, smooth and polished. Pleasant sour notes that lead to a long and persistent end of roasted and fruity notes.
In the eighties, before the Ribera del Duero became a fashionable winemaking area, José Manuel Vizcarra Aguado was a pioneer in planting new vineyards. In 1991 his son Juan Carlos Vizcarra Ramos followed in his father´s footsteps and started making first young wines and later aged wines.
