TASTING NOTE
Colour

This wine has an attractive black cherry colour with intense garnet tones.

AROMA:

Potent and complex in the nose. The maturity if the wine is reflected in the black fruit aromas accented by cacao, spicy (cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and a hint of vanilla) toasted notes.

TASTE:

Smooth, rich and fruity, hinting at black fruits, slight toasting and aromatic woods. A wine loyal to its origins, which doesn’t disappoint.

MATCHING
We can serve it with light stews, red meat not much spiced (or in Argentina’s style) as well as grilled meats.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The love to the vineyard and to the land led the Sastre family to venture more than five decades in the intricacies of this restless world of wine. Severiano Sastre was the pioneer of this great project and assisted in the founding of the Cooperativa Virgen de la Asunción. His son Rafael followed in his footsteps to fulfil the dream of creating a winery in 1992 with the support of both his father and his two sons Peter and Jesus. The latter's who now heads the winery.
