WHO CAN CONTRACT
Viña Bosconia wines come from our farm called El Bosque and its name refers to the term of the vineyard from which they come. Originally, our great-grandfather, the founder, by his clear French influence, gave the wines names inspired by the French; thus, the Bosconia Vineyard comes from a wine that he made in the style of the French of Burgundy, with a higher percentage of Pinot Noir, and which he named Rioja Cepa Burgundy.
The El Bosque farm is located on the banks of the Ebro River, at an altitude of about 410 m., And approximately one kilometer in geographical distance from the winery. Crossed to the North by the Sierra de Cantabria, the vineyards are planted on the slope and facing south, which makes the insolation and accumulation of hours of light perfect for the proper maturation of the clusters. This maturation is also ensured by the clay - calcareous and gravelly nature of the land and by the average age of the vineyard, which is about 40 years.
It extends over a total area of fifteen hectares, of which eleven are Tempranillo, two Garnacha tinta, one Mazuelo and one Graciano.
