Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Purple color with garnet reflections, where it has a medium - high layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose highlights its freshness, where the expressiveness of the Atlantic climate is reflected. Aromas of black and red fruit, spices and the elegant touches of a majesty brought with majesty.

TASTE:

Mouth where their structure and personality become the big culprits. Highlights are tannins of impeccable maturity, and a mouthfeel where the fruit takes over again. Long, wide and persistent finish.

Ideal with opulent dishes. Leg and gut, roast pork with plum sauce, baked goat, wild boar civet, pork feet with almond sauce, etc.

The winery is located in Tudela de Duero, a town near Valladolid whose wine heritage dates back to 1562. Since 2004 the production takes place in a modern and functional building that allows the grapes to be transferred by gravity to the fermentation tanks. The vineyard area comprises 80 hectares in various payments, planted mainly with Tempranillo and Syrah. The clay-calcareous soils predominate and the yields are between 3,000 and 5,000 kilograms per hectare. The vineyard is cultivated organically, in the context of a harsh continental climate with low rainfall. The wine marks the time and type of aging based on the location of the plot, the age of the vineyard and the vintage. The winery produces three opulent, elegant and balanced wines: Mauro, Mauro VS, which was born from a selection of its best vineyards, based on criteria of altitude and age of the vines; and Terreus, from an exceptional and historic vineyard, from which only 6,000 bottles are produced annually.
