Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Picota cherry color with garnet reflections, and where it has a medium layer intensity.

AROMA:

On the nose, it expresses youth and delicacy. Aromas of red and black fruits in equal parts, slightly spicy notes and the unmistakable herbaceous touch of the Mediterranean character.

TASTE:

Entry in the mouth with lightness, freshness and a good load of fruit. Fine and pleasant tannins.

The surname Lafage is very unique in the town of Perpignan. From here, it is the call of the five generations who have grown vines in the lands of Roussillon. Currently, it is one of Jean-Marc's sons who is in charge of his wines with the aim of making wines in harmony with the Mediterranean environment when he meets the winery.

It is precisely the Mediterranean region that is near the vineyards of Domaine Lafage that have unique characteristics. Likewise, the winds of Tramontana present a fresh air to all the vines, which overlook the 300 meters of altitude.

Domaine Lafage works with a total of 160 hectares of vines. The age of the things has ranged from 10 to 100 years, and the cultivated varieties are Syrah, Grenache, Monastrell and Carinyena tones and Chardonnay, Marsanne and Roussanne whites. The predominant wood is serious and beautiful, and that found in the plantations of the Pyrenees is also planted on the terraces. All vineyards work according to the principles of organic farming.
