Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Yellow color with grayish reflections. Very pleasing to the eye.

AROMA:

First contact in nose his youth is the great protagonist. Aromas of very expressive white fruit with small more herbaceous notes.

TASTE:

In the mouth it is pleasant, fresh and friendly, with lively and present acidity, and where its fruit is again manifested with all the senses. Fresh and friendly finish.

Perfect wine to accompany any aperitif, rice, grilled fish, grilled seafood, etc. Its freshness and versatility also make it ideal to be enjoyed on its own at any time of the day.

The surname Lafage is closely linked to the town of Perpignan. In fact, it is the surname under which five generations have cultivated vineyards in the Roussillon lands. Currently, it is one of Jean-Marc's sons who takes charge of the vineyards with the aim of producing wines that are in harmony with the Mediterranean environment in which the winery is located.

Precisely the proximity to the Mediterranean coast gives the Domaine Lafage vineyards unique characteristics. Likewise, the Tramuntana winds bring fresh air to all the vines, which exceed 300 meters in altitude.

Domaine Lafage works with a total of 160 hectares of vineyards. Their age ranges between 10 and 100 years, and the varieties grown are the red Syrah, Garnacha, Monastrell and Cariñena and the white Chardonnay, Marsanne and Roussanne. The predominant soil is gravel and shale, and those found in the foothills of the Pyrenees are also planted in terraces. All vineyards are worked under the principles of organic farming.
